St Pancras International

Last day in London. We took euro star from London to Paris. Although the ticket was not cheap, but we decided to give it a try as this is kind of once in a life time thingy.
I bought euro star ticket online, it was cheapest with only 32 Pound. Then you can choose either you print out the ticket and carry it with you, or collect it at the counter when you reach train station. Of course i will print out the ticket myself. I had compared the price with local agent, the cheapest rate they can get is 70pound. Wow, is a huge different. So we must fully utilize the convenience provided by internet when come to this kind of price comparison.货比三家。

Euro star station located at St Pancras International - one of the major transport hub in London. Side by side with St Pancras was King's Cross station. Oh my god, was it where platform 9 3/4 was? I wanted to go to take photo with platform 9 3/4!
We had our nice breakfast inside St Pancras station cost me 4 pound. I did something stupid here. Do you see the egg in the photo? It not half boil egg, its full boiled egg. So i ate in malaysian way. Peel off eggshell, put it on plate, make it small small piece and ate. After i finished, i only realize how Britain ate it. They peel off half of the eggshell, remains the egg in the container, and use a spoon to dig and ate. Walau....lucky no one saw how i ate. -.-"
I planned to walk over to king cross station to had a looked after breakfast. And Allysa as usual, prefer to sit there cause she wanted online and check some email.
But too bad that time is not permitted, and king cross seem to be under renovation and was quite a distance from where i am. so....hmm...maybe next time la. Sorry ya platform 9 3/4, Paris was more important than you and i don't wanted to miss the train.
Display board for Euro star train. I don't know how to describe my feeling. After waiting and mumble for 7 years, finally i am coming, finally i am really coming. I still cannot believe it!
Although i don't had enough time to walk over to king cross, but i still had sometime to browse around St Pancras. I climbed up to one of the staircase and i saw this giant statue. A pair of lover hug and saying good bye to each other.Or rather they meet back each other after one of them back from his/her travel?
When i turn to my left side. Wa!!!! 4 giant euro star trains lye there, unmoved. It like a space ship under this cool and silent environment.First though came to my mind was : wa... high tech oooo
I don't felt it was a train. To me, it was something alive, it was beautiful. 对它的感觉是又敬又畏。这是多么多个天才头脑的产物阿!他静静的在那里,没有半点声音。连我的呼吸也不敢大声。Perhaps i had watched the process on how they build the undersea tunnel in discovery channel, i just wanted salute for all those engineers and workers. They had created a miracle, a masterpiece in human transportation history.
Another statue beside euro star train. This old man seem like waiting for the train and keep on looking at the clock.
Boarding process for euro star was same as you board a plane. Just touched the bar code on your ticket to the scanner to go through the machine, submitted your passport to custom officer, scanned your luggage. But you need to hand carry your luggage.
Finally, i had closed contact with it. I can pre-book the seat as well. As for the kiasu me, i get the first compartment coz i purchased ticket so early! hihi
Inside the train, it was very comfortable. Each seat was designed to had a side bar at the top part. So when you wanted to sleep, your head can lye on it and avoid your head end up at the shoulder of the person sit beside you. :) I kept on comparing Euroline bus with this train. Gosh... i should took train next time.
Train started to move. It was silent and fast. I am so katak bawah tempurung. I though the whole journey was under the sea. But actually most of the time it traveled on land. Only 20minutes times inside the tunnel. Before its go into tunnel, captain will make an announcement. However, i didn't feel anything special inside the tunnel beside that outside was dark.

Train move fast forward, my heart beat faster and faster. For each minutes pass by, i was nearer and nearer to it. How would i felt when i reached there? how is the apartment look like? Will i cry when i saw eiffer tower? Too many question mark in my mind. The train still moving forward steadily, but my mind was flying away and away... Paris, ici je viens.

p/s: after i back from the trip, Europe facing a most difficult winter time where euro star train stopped at the middle of the tunnel due to super cool weather. It had affect thousand of passengers. I felt graceful , i had a safe and wonderful trip.

Harrods

On the way back from stonehenge to London, we asked the driver drop us at Harrods. Before this, one of the solo traveller sat behind us kept mumble with his newly knew girl friend on he dont know how to back to hotel. My god, he had already been here for few days and he dont event know what was his hotel name? Our tour guide and driver try very hard to help him. End up they just told him to take a cab. (orang kaya...)
Then our bus stop at one of the dropping point, suddenly the aunty beside me just shouted to him "hey this is your hotel!" Oh ya, the whole bus said "this is your hotel!" And yes it really was.
I really don't know how he survived in London for so many days.
Ok now back to Harrods. The most famous shopping mall in London, as well as the world. The son of the owner of Harrods was Prince Diana Boyfriend. Who died together with her in the car crash. After visited it, i feel so sad that our shopping complex totally cannot competed with it.It was huge and all was branded & luxury things! handbag itself occupied whole level. Chocolate and tea leafs also occupy 1 department. Wa.... Recently i found out there was one harrods branch in KLCC. But it only sold tea leaf , no chocolate.
My friend told me that London had the oldest metro system in the world. I agreed with it. It was so old, the cable all came out from pipe, it was dark...In fact, many thing in London look old old.
But during the peak session, It became people mountain people sea. At 7am in the morning, people can queue from the gate until to the entrance.
We can saw all those theater poster in the metro station.
I bought it as dinner. But honestly it was awful. I cant finished it.
Beside our hostel, there was an animal hospital! Wa, Prince will happy if he live in London. They even had animal ambulance! Will it happen in Malaysia? hm...i dont think so.

Stonehenge

Allysa said : " I must go to stonehenge" . I said : " OK, let go ". My friend said : " huh? you want to go stonehenge ah? Nothing one wor, only stone wor..."
Aiyor, already called stonehenge sure only got stone la. But but....i really disappointed when i first saw it.It was so small! I thought it will be something like Angkor??I totally cant feel the mystery here. We were not allowed to touch the stone. It was because previous tourist had done so much of vandalism toward those precious stone. Some even stoled the stone. -__-"
We only took 5 min to finish visited it. As usual all of us was provided by an audio guide. It said that previously, it was a jungle here. But not sure what it turn into a filed today. What was its purpose once time ago? Who build this? Why they want to build this? Too many question to be answered, too many mystery awaiting to be solved.
